Best Restaurants at Lake of the Ozarks
Being a Realtor here at Lake of the Ozarks we get asked “What are the best restaurants at lake of the ozarks?” or “Where can I find a good cheeseburger?” all the time. Especially from our clients who come into town just to hunt for homes over the weekend.
Although there are many good restaurants at the lake and we haven’t visited them all, but we do have a few favorites. So, here is a short list of my favorites. And if you’re not from the Lake, this is going to sound pretty cool.
If I’m in a boat and I’m looking for a place to eat burgers, Buck’s Boathouse is good. However, if you’re just driving around then get yourself a cheeseburger at Tirebiters.
JJ Twigs is the master of local Pizza. And it doesn’t matter if you’re on land or in a schooner to go there. They’ve got water carryout, too. They are the clear favorite for nachos, too – if you’re on land. However, I’d say Shady Gators edges them out for the boat loving crowd. JJ Twigs is also home to “Risky’s” bar- our favorite.
Phew! If you’ve got romance on your mind, then The Duck is very romantic restaurant with unbelievable sunsets, and great seafood. If your looking for an awesome view and you want to sit outside and have cocktails and relax my favorites are JB Hooks, Michael’s Chalet & Baxter’s.
Finally for those with a flair for fine dining, check out Bentley’s for Steaks and Prime rib and Li’L Rizzo for Lasagna. Please, just call us and we can chat about the best water bars and where they are on the lake.
